COMMUNITY-BASED RESIDENCE

Harvest Guest Home is a community-based residence where older adults, who are not bed-ridden, socialize with people their own age and receive assistance with the activities of daily living.

We don't have the look and feel of an institution and we're located deep within a residential area.

Most of our 22 bedrooms have a private bath and emergency call system. We have a spacious, but cozy, living room, a formal dining room, activity lounge, and a private family meeting room.

We care for our residents as if they were our own parents. Our relaxed and homey atmosphere gives the elderly a sense of well-being and the freedom from stress that helps heal both body and mind. We help them remain independent as long as possible by giving them the freedom of choice so essential to aging with grace and dignity.

And, it's not just our residents who feel at home here. Our caregivers do, too, as most of them have been with us for a long time — some for 20 years. This is the kind of experience and commitment that our residents and their families trust.

SERVING OLDER ADULTS SINCE 1995

Our monthly fee includes a room, three home-cooked meals a day, snacks, utilities (except personal phone and cable TV), laundry, housekeeping, linen services, activity programs, medication management, and health monitoring.

We also have special services for those requiring closer supervision, extensive personal care and, for existing residents, coordination of hospice care when needed. 

We are advocates for aging in place to minimize the transfer of residents to nursing homes.
